Coming in at number 25 on our list is the Miami Hurricanes. Entering year two under coach Mark Richt the Canes are projected to do well in the ACC this year. I personally have them as the second best team in the Coastal Division behind Virginia Tech. Losing a solid career QB in Brad Kaaya is a huge loss but they do bring in a second straight good recruiting class. This isn’t the Miami of the late 80’s and early 90’s but they look to be headed in the right direction. A big goal for this team should be winning the Coastal and getting to their first ACC Championship game. (Yes, they seriously haven’t been)

The schedule sets up favorably as the Hurricanes avoid both Louisville and Clemson in the regular season but a trip to Tallahassee week 3 will be a huge test. Outside of that they catch Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and Notre Dame at home. A big question mark surrounding this team is experience and depth at key positions including QB and in the Secondary. I would expect coach Richt will have them ready to go and maybe this is the year Miami makes it way back to National prominence.
